Holiday wishes 2017/2018
NewsAs you may know, Happy Thinking People has been supporting the Tunaweza Project since 2010. Tunaweza is a project in Mwanza, Tanzania, that helps youngsters with disabilities learn professional skills and crafts, selling what they make.
2017 was again a busy year for them, with significant milestones – they participated for the first time in the Africa Festival in Würzburg, Germany, presenting and selling all the fabulous things they have created, as you can see from the picture below.
Happy Thinking People will be supporting Tunaweza this year by donating money saved from printing a greetings card.
Tunaweza’s main ambition for 2018 is the creation of a new sheltered workshop. As the project expands, with more and more youngsters looking to join, they need more teaching space. After 3 years of planning, all approvals have been confirmed – we look forward to hearing about progress as the workshop becomes a reality!
